The floating, wistful electronica of Spring In A Small Town is sonic celebration of the chronologies, histories and memories embedded within the ancient woodland and provincial villages of Kent.

Hiraoka Cloke’s debut record, released on Japanese electronica label Flau, has been championed by BBC Radio 1, NTS, KEXP, 6 Music, and Spotify, and declared one of “The Best Spring Albums of All Time” by music imprint A Closer Listen.

Fluttering between moments of pensive solitude and quiet hope, Spring In A Small Town weaves live instrumentation, samples and pastoral field recordings into a ephemeral glow like that which lights our dreams.

The artist is donating all earnings from the release to charity Sevenoaks Welcomes Refugees, which provides assistance and support to refugee families resettling in Kent.
